Solid Waste Management
Solid waste management in a School begins with educational activities to raise awareness about solid wastes and how to reduce, reuse and recycle materials. The School has to plan and manage the collection, storage, transport and the recycling, processing or disposal of waste materials. Waste management aims at reducing the effect of wastes on health, the environment and aesthetics (clean, orderly and beautiful aspect of the School and its surroundings). Waste management is also carried out to recover resources.
