Spring Equinox Party - 25th September 2004

This equinox, we kicked off a little earlier with a "mini" party which doubled as a celebration of Andrew Kwok's (orange shirt) 20th Birthday. We played mahjong and a curious and frantically-paced card game called "Gluck". We also ate alot of Pizza and watched the 2004 AFL grand final.

Nick, Damjan and Chris fight it out in the now-famous solstice/equinox party twister tournament. There is always a fine balance to be achieved (like my pun?). One cannot drink too much alcohol, as it impairs one's skill at twister, however if one doesn't drink enough alcohol, one often isn't possessed with a strong desire to participate.

"Joanna, I think you should be careful, I mean, Daniel is looking over your shoulder and he has a camera", "No, seriously Joan, it was THIS long... what? Camera? Where? Aaarrggghhh!"

SLAP! argh! SLAP! argh! SLAP! argh! MISS! yay, its my turn! MISS! what the!? SLAP! argh! SLAP! argh! SLAP! argh!

Lets dance... but, Damjan... we're just friends right? Of course Joel, now c'mon dance with me. Ooohh, your hands are so soft...

Recorders have been added to the musical instruments. So... we had 4 recorders (but only one recorderer), a trumpet, a trombone, a piano, a violin, some drums and a guitar.

Paul: Yeowie, have you met Becky? Yeowie: yes, this is the 7th time you introduced me tonight Paul. Kirsty: dun mind Paul, hezz puzzed...

No really, we can do this without a campfire. No WAY! WAY!. Oh, but its just not the same. Well, its pretty warm in here, maybe we can pretend? I've got an idea, how about we all drink some tequila? Yeah, then we'll sing anything. Nah, but then I can't play. That's ok, we won't even notice. Yeah, I guess, neither will I.
